Co-hosted by the Ubuntu Justice Initiative and the Zambia Law Development Commission, the workshop seeks to enhance an understanding of democratic policing and identify ways to make policing more democratic including through decriminalisation of certain offences and making fewer offences cognisable (for which arrest without a warrant is possible).
